We started in a bar bathroom. Not literally. But also

 - kind of literally.

THE BEGINNING...

Every woman knows the moment.

You're at the mirror, or in the stall next to a total stranger, and somehow, in the span of a song and a half, you've learned her entire love life.

She's learned yours.

Someone's zipping up someone's dress.

Someone's handing over a tampon like it's currency.

Someone just said the thing out loud for the first time — the diagnosis, the breakup, the promotion, the pregnancy scare, the "I think I'm finally leaving him."

A 23-year-old and a 60-year-old, reapplying lipgloss shoulder to shoulder, and neither one cares who's older.

In that bathroom, nobody's checking IDs on who gets to belong.

That's the room we wanted to build. Just, you know, bigger than a bathroom.

Hold My Drink Media Co. exists because that kind of honesty is rare everywhere else.

Not the curated kind.

Not the caption kind.

The real kind — funny and messy and a little too honest, the way it only gets when it's 1am and nobody's filming.

WHAT WE BELIEVE...

Not just the ones with a book deal or a blue check. The story your aunt tells at every holiday. The one you've only ever told your best friend. The one you haven't told anyone yet.

Every woman has a story worth holding still for.

The 23-year-old figuring out her first heartbreak and the 58-year-old on her third act have more in common than either of them think. We're not interested in "wisdom flowing downhill." We want the room where everybody's learning from everybody.

Age is not a filter here.

You can be completely unraveled about a text message and still be the most formidable woman in the room. We're not choosing between the joy of being young and the confidence of having lived — we want both, in the same sentence, on the same night.

Confidence and chaos can share a body.

The bad dates. The tampon emergencies. The mascara running. The "I don't know what I'm doing" seasons. That's not the stuff we edit out. That's the whole point.

The unglamorous parts are the good parts.
